Having not logged in for quite a while I decided to check in on things only to get into the spirit of spring cleaning three seasons too late. I tend to clean up old pieces from time to time, however I've decided to go all in on this one.

To make a long story less interesting, writing has become a much more important part of my life than I foresaw four years ago. My various comedy gigs around the seductive lady known as the internet have given me a lot of professional opportunities and as time goes on I'm getting closer and closer to becoming one of those people that can actually support themselves off of their art. And again, as time has moved on and I've become more and more focused on the professional side of things, I've come to care less and less about putting things here. I am writing fiction less and less and, for the most part, if I write something I'm particularly proud of most of you see it in the grim existence known as meatspace.

So why did I ditch everything? Originally I was going to close out the account. However, I still practice illustration in my down time and realized in the future I may actually want to showcase something, maybe. So I suppose it was anticipation of moving into another phase of art. I'm certainly not ashamed of what I've written here and cleaning out my gallery even found some incredibly old pieces I forgot even existed. However, as I'm writing has become my work and pictures have become my hobby I decided to toss out the words. They're saved somewhere for future generations, I'm sure. The plan is to come back when I have some solid visual stuff done (not for a while). Maybe I'll change my mind in a month a write a flurry of nonsense. Maybe not. I dunno. But this is good in the meantime.

Having said that, I left up "My Prius" because rereading it still makes me laugh out loud. And thus, it shall be my legacy.
